Are employees who can easily adapt to change at work more successful?

I'd say adaptable employees definitely have an edge, especially in fast-paced industries like tech here in Shanghai. The main reason is that companies constantly update tools and workflows - like when our design team switched from Sketch to Figma last year. Those who resisted struggled, while colleagues who embraced the change quickly became go-to experts. That said, adaptability alone isn't enough - you still need solid skills. Like in my half marathon training I mentioned earlier, being flexible with my schedule helped, but consistent practice was what actually built my endurance.
