Do you agree or disagree that people today feel uncomfortable if there is no noise?

I'd say it depends on the person and situation. Many people in Shanghai do seem uncomfortable with complete silence, which makes sense because we're used to constant city noise - traffic sounds, phone notifications, office chatter. For example, in my design studio, colleagues often play background music or keep podcasts running while working, saying total quiet feels unsettling. That said, I personally crave quiet moments like in Fuxing Park I mentioned earlier, especially after long hours staring at screens. So while urban life conditions us to expect noise, some of us actively seek out silence to recharge.
