I think AI could help with some aspects of planning, but completely handing over responsibility would be risky. The main issue is that AI lacks human judgment - it can optimize schedules or traffic flows efficiently, but can't understand emotional needs or unexpected situations. For example, in my work as a UI designer, automated layout tools save time, but they often miss the subtle ways users actually interact with interfaces. That said, AI could be useful for routine tasks like public transport scheduling in Shanghai, where predictability matters more than personalization. The key is finding the right balance between efficiency and human oversight.
