Yeah, quite often actually. As a UI designer, I sometimes take photos of interesting buildings for inspiration - especially modern architecture with unique shapes or facades. Just last week I snapped some shots of the Oriental Pearl Tower during my lunch break because the lighting made the glass panels look really striking.
