Yeah, comedy shows are quite popular in China, especially sketch comedies and stand-up. I remember just last week my coworkers were all talking about a hilarious new comedy competition show during lunch. Personally, I don't watch them too often because I prefer reading in my free time, but they definitely have a big audience here.
