One trip I still remember is my first visit to Jiuzhaigou in Sichuan. I went a few years ago with three friends from university. It was my first time seeing the stunning plateau scenery in southwestern China, and it really left a deep impression on me.
We flew to Chengdu first, and then took an eight-hour bus ride to Jiuzhaigou. The journey was long, but the landscape just kept getting more beautiful. We drove through endless mountains, forests, and rivers, chatting and taking pictures all the way. I didn't feel bored at all.
Once we arrived, the next day we set off early to explore. What amazed me most were the lakes. Each one had a different color - from bright greens to deep blues. The water was so clear that you could see the stones at the bottom. I was just standing there, feeling awestruck by how beautiful nature can be.
There was a funny moment too. We got so wrapped up in taking photos that we almost missed the last sightseeing bus! Everyone was laughing and rushing, and somehow, we made it just in time. Looking back, that little chaos became one of my favorite memories.
This trip not only let me enjoy one of China's most beautiful landscapes but also strengthened my friendships. If someone asks me for a travel recommendation, Jiuzhaigou is always at the top of my list. I hope to visit again, especially in the fall when the leaves turn golden yellow and red. That would be even more spectacular!
