Part 3a city that you really enjoyed visiting

Do you agree or disagree that cities lose their individual character as they grow in size?

نمونه پاسخ باند ۷.۵

I'd say cities do tend to lose some of their individual character as they grow, mainly because modernization often leads to uniformity. For example, in Shanghai, where I live, many older neighborhoods have been replaced by skyscrapers and shopping malls, which makes it feel quite similar to other large cities in China. The charm of traditional architecture and local culture can get overshadowed by globalized trends. That said, some cities manage to preserve their uniqueness by balancing growth with heritage. Hangzhou, my hometown, has done this well by integrating its famous West Lake area into the urban landscape, maintaining its historical identity even as the city expands. So, it's possible, but it requires conscious effort.
