What are the benefits for young people of working in another country for a short time?

I'd say working abroad temporarily gives young people valuable exposure to different work cultures. The main benefit is learning flexible approaches to problem-solving, which isn't something you can easily get from textbooks. For example, in my UI design work, collaborating with international teams in Shanghai has shown me how differently people approach user experience - some focus on efficiency while others prioritize aesthetics. That said, the adjustment period can be challenging if the cultural gap is too wide, like when communication styles clash. But overall, these short-term experiences help build adaptability that's useful throughout one's career.
