What are the differences between talking to people online and talking to them face to face?

I'd say the biggest difference is that people tend to be bolder and sometimes ruder online than in face-to-face conversations. That's largely because the screen creates a sort of buffer-you don't see the immediate reaction of the other person, so it's easier to say things you wouldn't dare to say directly. For example, I've noticed this in group chats where colleagues or even friends make blunt comments they'd never say if we were sitting across from each other. On the other hand, face-to-face conversations feel more genuine because you pick up on body language and tone, which adds depth to the interaction. So, while online chats can be efficient, they sometimes lack the warmth and accountability of real-life conversations.
