In China, short-form videos are incredibly popular, especially on platforms like Douyin, which is our version of TikTok. It's largely because they're quick to consume and cater to people's busy lifestyles. For example, during my commute in Shanghai, I often see people scrolling through these videos on the metro. They're usually bite-sized content, ranging from cooking hacks to comedy skits, which makes them perfect for filling short breaks. That said, I've noticed there's also a growing trend of educational content, like tutorials on digital tools or language learning, which people find useful. So, while entertainment dominates, practical videos are starting to carve out their own space.
