In China, reality shows and short video content are really dominating right now. The main reason is people's limited free time - after long work hours, they want something light and entertaining. For example, shows like "Keep Running" are huge because they combine celebrity gossip with fun challenges. At the same time, platforms like Douyin are exploding because you can watch dozens of engaging clips during a quick subway ride. What's interesting is that while these formats are entertaining, they've also made traditional TV dramas less popular among younger audiences.
