When you were a child, did you go on any long car journeys?

Yeah, occasionally. My family used to drive from Hangzhou to Shanghai to visit relatives, which took about 3 hours. I remember sitting in the backseat watching the scenery change from lakes to cityscapes. Honestly though, I preferred taking the high-speed train-it was faster and I could read during the trip.
