How possible is it to learn the skill of persuasion?

Band 7.5 sample answer

I'd say persuasion is definitely a learnable skill, and that's largely because it's more about understanding people than some natural talent. For example, in my work as a UI designer in Shanghai, I often need to convince clients about design choices - at first I struggled, but I learned to frame things from their perspective. Like showing how a simpler navigation actually increases conversions rather than just saying "it looks better." That said, some people do pick it up faster than others, maybe because they're naturally more observant about what makes others tick. But with practice, anyone can improve.
