I'd say any job can give people a sense of pride if they connect it to something meaningful. The main reason is that pride comes from seeing your impact, not just the job title. For example, my high school math teacher Mr. Wang took real pride in helping struggling students - I remember how he'd stay late to explain concepts until we understood. That said, some jobs make it harder - like repetitive factory work where you never see the final product. But even then, people can take pride in supporting their family or perfecting a skill. It's more about perspective than the work itself.
