Will the public's appetite for news videos lead to the end of print journalism?

Band 7.5 sample answer

I don't think print journalism will completely disappear, but it's definitely shrinking. The reason is simple-people want news instantly, and videos deliver that in a more engaging way. For example, in Shanghai, I see most of my colleagues scrolling through short news clips during lunch breaks rather than reading newspapers. That said, print still has its place-my father prefers holding a physical newspaper with his morning tea because he says it helps him focus better without distractions. So while digital formats are dominating, traditional print might survive in smaller, more niche markets.
