Well, I think the most effective way is for teachers and parents to explain the reasons behind rules rather than just enforcing them blindly. When children understand why something matters, they're more likely to follow it willingly. For example, my high school math teacher Mr. Wang always took time to explain why showing work was important - not just for grades, but for building logical thinking skills. That made me much more careful with my calculations. Parents could do the same at home - instead of just saying "clean your room," explaining how it creates a better living environment. Of course, this takes more patience, but it leads to better long-term habits.
