What are the advantages of having friends who are older than you?

I'd say older friends bring valuable life experience that younger peers often can't offer. The main reason is they've already faced many situations we're just encountering now, so their advice tends to be more practical. For example, my high school math teacher Mr. Wang was in his forties when he taught me, and he gave me career guidance that still helps me today as a UI designer - things like how to handle workplace conflicts professionally. That said, sometimes generational gaps can make communication slightly harder, like when discussing technology trends. But overall, their wisdom usually outweighs those small differences.
