In China, tech startups and e-commerce businesses tend to do really well, especially in cities like Shanghai where I live. The main reason is our massive mobile internet user base - people here rely on apps for everything from shopping to food delivery. For example, my company actually designed interfaces for a local fresh grocery app that became super popular during lockdowns. That said, traditional businesses like tea shops still thrive in my hometown Hangzhou, where people value face-to-face service and local flavors. It's this mix of digital innovation and cultural traditions that makes our market unique.
