I'd say parents generally have more influence on children's opinions, especially in their early years. The main reason is that kids spend far more time at home absorbing their parents' values through daily interactions. For example, my high school math teacher Mr. Wang was brilliant, but even his influence couldn't compete with how my parents shaped my attitude towards education - they always emphasized effort over grades. That said, teachers can become very influential too, particularly when children reach their teens and start forming their own worldviews. But in most cases, those early family foundations remain strongest.
