Well, I'd say younger people tend to make more personal life decisions while older generations focus on family matters. For example, when I was in university, most of my friends were choosing majors or considering study abroad - very self-focused choices. But now that I'm working in Shanghai, my older colleagues are always discussing things like buying apartments or their children's education. That said, there's some overlap - like my half marathon decision showed, even personal goals can impact family life later. What really changes is how much we consider others in our choices as we grow older.
