What kinds of music events are popular in your country?

In Shanghai, I'd say music festivals and live concerts are really popular, especially among young professionals like me. The main reason is that people want to unwind after work, and these events offer both entertainment and socializing opportunities. For example, last summer I went to a jazz festival at Century Park - the atmosphere was relaxed, with people picnicking while listening to music. That said, traditional Chinese opera performances still draw older crowds in places like Yuyuan Garden, showing how tastes differ across generations.
