I'd say cooking at home definitely has more advantages overall. The biggest benefit is knowing exactly what goes into your food, which means you can control the quality and healthiness of meals. For example, when I bake cakes like the chocolate one I mentioned earlier, I can adjust the sugar level and use fresh ingredients. However, the disadvantage is the time commitment - after a long day designing interfaces, sometimes I just don't have the energy to cook properly. That's when I end up ordering takeout, especially during busy project weeks in Shanghai. But even then, I try to keep some simple home-cooked meals in my routine because they feel more satisfying in the long run.
