I'd say living in a very tall building has some practical drawbacks, especially in cities like Shanghai. One major issue is the reliance on elevators, which can be a hassle during peak times. For instance, in my apartment building, which is over 30 floors, waiting for the elevator in the morning can take several minutes, and it's often crowded. That's frustrating when you're in a hurry to get to work. Another downside is the noise from wind, especially on higher floors. My friend lives on the 40th floor, and she often mentions how windy it gets, which can make it harder to relax or even sleep. That said, the views and the sense of space can make up for these inconveniences, so it's not all bad.
