I'd say planning careers early gives young people a sense of direction, which helps them focus their efforts and avoid feeling overwhelmed. For example, when I was studying to become a UI designer, having a clear plan made it easier to decide which skills to prioritize, like learning design software or improving my portfolio. That focus saved me a lot of time and stress, especially when juggling assignments and internships. Of course, planning too rigidly can limit flexibility, and sometimes unexpected opportunities come up that you might miss if you're too fixed on one path. So, it's about finding a balance between having a roadmap and staying open to change.
