That being said, even these small gardening efforts can be rewarding - my colleague grows mint leaves on her apartment balcony and always says picking fresh leaves for tea helps her relax after work. Of course, people with proper gardens in suburban areas have more options, but city dwellers have to be more creative with limited space.
