Do you agree or disagree that it's important for everyone in a family to help in the home?

I strongly agree that everyone should contribute at home because it builds responsibility and mutual respect. When all family members share chores, it teaches practical life skills and prevents one person from feeling overwhelmed. In my own family back in Hangzhou, we had a simple rule - even as students, my brother and I had to help with dishes or tidying up on weekends. It wasn't about heavy work, but about understanding that maintaining a home is a shared effort. That said, the tasks should match people's ages and schedules - expecting a high school student to cook daily meals during exam season wouldn't be realistic. The key is finding a balanced approach where everyone does their fair share.
