Do you agree or disagree that most people waste too much time shopping?

I'd say many people do waste time shopping, especially with how apps and ads constantly push new products at us. The main reason is that shopping platforms are designed to keep you browsing - like how Taobao shows you "recommended for you" items based on what you've viewed. Just last week, I opened the app to buy one specific item, but ended up scrolling through suggestions for nearly an hour. That said, it's not entirely the shoppers' fault - companies invest heavily in algorithms to maximize engagement. Compared with physical stores where you go in with a purpose, online shopping makes it much harder to stay focused.
