Personally, I feel we need stricter laws to protect nature, especially in cities like Shanghai where rapid development often overshadows environmental concerns. What's crucial is that these laws focus on practical measures, like reducing single-use plastics or enforcing stricter recycling policies. For instance, in my workplace, we've started separating waste properly because the government introduced stricter recycling regulations last year. It wasn't easy at first, but now it's become a habit for everyone. That said, laws alone aren't enough-people need to see the benefits. For example, when the city planted more trees in my neighborhood, the air quality noticeably improved, which made residents more supportive of environmental efforts. So, it's about combining laws with visible results to make a real impact.
