Honestly, I think some young people do find listening to older people boring, but it really depends on the context. The main reason is that older generations often share advice based on their own experiences, which might feel outdated or irrelevant to today's fast-paced world. For example, when I was in high school, my math teacher, Mr. Wang, would sometimes tell stories about how he studied without calculators or the internet. At the time, I thought it was a bit repetitive and didn't see how it applied to me. That said, looking back, I realize his stories were actually meant to teach us persistence and resourcefulness, which are timeless values. So while it might feel boring at first, there's often wisdom hidden in those conversations.
