I think large groups can make good decisions, but only with the right process. The main risk is that people just follow the loudest voice instead of really thinking. For example, at my design agency in Shanghai, we often brainstorm ideas as a team. When we take time to hear everyone's perspective and vote properly, we usually find the best solution. But if we rush or let one person dominate, the results are weaker. So it's possible, but the group needs structure to avoid just going with the crowd. That's why good meetings have clear rules - to give every useful idea a real chance.
