Is it better to watch a film or movie at the cinema or at home?

I'd say the cinema experience is still superior for certain films, because the big screen and surround sound create an immersive atmosphere you just can't replicate at home. For example, when I watched "The Pursuit of Happyness" in theaters, those emotional scenes hit much harder with the collective audience reaction - you could feel everyone holding their breath during the subway station scene. That said, streaming at home definitely wins for convenience - in Shanghai after work, I often just curl up with my laptop rather than battling the metro crowds to reach a cinema. The trade-off is emotional impact versus comfort.
