Will people grow more of their own food in the future?

I think more people will grow some of their own food, but probably not all of it. The main reason is that city living makes it hard to have enough space - like in Shanghai where I live, most apartments only have small balconies. My neighbor Mrs. Chen grows herbs and vegetables in pots, which works well for fresh ingredients, but she still buys rice and meat from the market. That said, with rising food prices, even small home gardens can help families save money while getting organic produce. It's a practical middle ground between self-sufficiency and modern convenience.
