Are cities that tourists like to visit also good places to live?

I'd say cities popular with tourists aren't always the best places to live. That's because they're often designed for short-term enjoyment rather than daily convenience. Take Hangzhou, for example-it's a beautiful city with West Lake attracting millions of visitors, but living there can be challenging. The traffic gets really heavy during peak tourist seasons, and housing prices are high because of the demand. At the same time, there are perks like well-maintained public spaces and cultural events, which residents also enjoy. So while it's nice to live in a vibrant city, the downsides of tourism can make daily life less comfortable.
