I'd disagree that computers can be more imaginative than people, because true creativity comes from human experiences and emotions. As a UI designer in Shanghai, I work with AI tools daily, and while they can generate surprising combinations, they're just remixing existing data. For example, when I use ChatGPT for design inspiration, it often suggests predictable layouts-nothing as bold as what my colleague came up with after visiting an art exhibition last month. That said, AI is getting better at mimicking creativity, but it still lacks that spark of personal connection that makes ideas truly original.
