Part 3a time when someone you know found a clever solution to a problem

Do you think children are born clever, or do they learn to be clever?

バンド7.5 模範解答

I think children definitely have some natural intelligence, but what really develops their cleverness is learning and practice. Take my high school math teacher Mr. Wang - he always said even naturally bright students would fall behind without consistent effort. I remember one classmate who wasn't the quickest at grasping concepts initially, but through daily practice problems and asking questions, she eventually outperformed many "gifted" students. That said, I do think some kids pick up certain skills faster than others - like languages or logical thinking - but without the right environment and encouragement, that potential might not fully develop. It's really about combining innate ability with opportunities to learn.
