I'd say science and technology bring both benefits and drawbacks to farming, depending on how they're applied. On one hand, modern techniques like greenhouse farming in Shanghai's outskirts help grow vegetables year-round, which improves food security. But at the same time, I've noticed some local farmers rely too much on chemical fertilizers - my uncle in Hangzhou complains the tomatoes don't taste as flavorful as before. The key is balance - technology should enhance natural growing methods rather than replace them completely. That way we get both higher yields and better quality.
