Part 3a person you know about who encourages people to look after the natural world (e.g. plants, animals, insects and so on)

How can parents help children to learn about nature?

バンド7.5 模範解答

I think parents can help children connect with nature by making it part of everyday life, not just special trips. For example, in Shanghai where I live, even small things like growing plants on the balcony or pointing out birds in the park can spark a child's curiosity. My friend's mother used to do this-she'd ask her son to water their herbs every evening, and over time, he started noticing how they changed with the seasons. That kind of routine exposure feels more natural than forcing kids to memorize facts. Of course, schools play a role too, but parents have more chances to weave those moments into daily life.
