Part 3a person you know about who encourages people to look after the natural world (e.g. plants, animals, insects and so on)

Is it easy for children living in cities to enjoy the natural world?

バンド7.5 模範解答

I'd say it's definitely more challenging for city kids to connect with nature compared to children in rural areas. The main reason is simply lack of accessible green spaces - in Shanghai for example, many families live in high-rise apartments far from parks. I remember my cousin's son who's seven - his only regular exposure to nature is the small playground near their compound and occasional weekend trips to botanical gardens. That said, some schools are making efforts now with rooftop gardens and nature education programs, which helps bridge that gap a bit. It's not impossible, but parents really have to be intentional about creating those opportunities.
