Part 3a time when you had to change a plan you had made

When a company is planning changes, is it necessary for the employees to be involved?

バンド7.5 模範解答

I'd say involving employees in company changes is crucial because they're the ones who understand the daily workflow best. In my work as a UI designer, when our team introduced a new design system last year, management initially planned it without consulting us. That led to so many practical issues - like components that didn't fit our actual projects. After they finally gathered our feedback, the system became much more usable. That being said, not every minor change needs full employee input - sometimes quick decisions are necessary for deadlines. But for major shifts, skipping staff consultation often creates more problems than it solves.
